This microphone has superior sound quality, basically it has surround sound receiving microphone.  The best way I can explain is to say that anyone who has ever did a face to face interview knows it can be alot of work to set-up the area to make sure you can hear the person being interviewed at all times.  Add more than one person being interviewed makes it even more difficult.  Doing a outside interview where you are moving around is almost impossible without alot of expensive bulky equipment, right? I did a interview at a local tradeshow and was surprised when I played it back, surprisingly the background noise could barely be heard and our voices sounded loudly and clearly.  The cord was nice and long which made the interview more natural, neither I or the other person had to stand still we could move freely as we spoke, laughed and gestered.
